NURUL AZIZ

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Guess who has free time and not tired? Me. Baca SINI untuk cerita kenapa I takde masa nak update blog dan penat melampau. Tapi hari ni I ada masa lapang dan tak penat jadi marilah update blog sementara ada peluang.

Dah lama tak tulis blog bahasa rojak macam ni but tonight I will. I nak mintak maaf in advance to those yang tak suka tulisan rojak. Nak tulis full BM actually tapi biasanya kalau I tulis full BM, terus jadi skema. Kagum dengan kawan I, Ili (sempattt promot blog member. Thanks me later Ili walaupun blog aku bukan banyak view pun hahaha). Tulisan dia walaupun campur bahasa Melayu dan Inggeris jugak but bunyi proper tapi tak skema. Sila baca blog beliau kalau curious macam mana level proper tapi tak skema I tu. Lepas tu tak tau macam mana nak address diri sendiri, so guna I je lah for now. Harap bersabar ye. Hihihi.

Back to our title. Sekali lagi I nak mintak maaf to those yang selalu jenguk blog I samada untuk balas blogwalking atau memang suka baca blog I wah wah yakinnya kamu Nurul. Hahaha. I mintak maaf sebab korang selalu kena nampak post pasal my never-ending acne journey ni. I actually don't mind pun kalau ada orang skip post macam ni sebab I pun selalu buat macam tu. I'll skip posts yang tak menarik minat I bila pergi melawat kawan-kawan blogger yang lain. Hihihi. Tapi I kena tulis jugak journey ni untuk future reference and I also wish to help other people who face the same problem like me sebab I tau the struggle nak dapat kulit bersih tanpa jerawat. Dekat bawah nanti I akan tunjuk progress kulit so ni nak warning awal-awal bahawasanya post ni ada graphic content. Kalau rasa geli dengan muka berjerawat, silalah jangan baca. Kalau nak baca jugak, jangan scroll sampai bawah. I letak gambar tu dengan harapan orang-orang yang ada masalah macam I tak rasa down sangat or worse, rasa give up terus.

Remember I said I need to make peace and live together in harmony with my acne dekat post review Dr. Ko dulu. Well, I wasn't ready for that yet. Lepas I sedar breakout tu mungkin disebabkan oleh udara dekat Vietnam, I pun pergi ke klinik lagi. I decided nak pegi klinik tu pun tiba-tiba. One day I ada meeting dekat tempat customer. Lepas tu dah nak dekat lunch hour. Kalau dekat office selalu tak keluar pun time lunch sebab I tak suka panas hahaha. I pun jarang makan lunch sebenarnya. Tapi hari tu sebab dah dekat luar time lunch hour, I fikir why not pegi klinik. For. one. last. time. Sebab masa tu muka tengah breakout teruk sampai tak tahu nak buat apa dah.

I pun Google klinik kulit dekat area Shah Alam and jumpa Klinik Welcare. I tengok rating dia 4.7 stars. Review dia pun banyak yang positif so I decided nak pegi klinik tu. Klinik tu dekat Seksyen 17 Shah Alam. Dia klinik general tapi specialized in skin kind of clinic? I'm not very sure. Tapi orang yang ada sakit biasa macam demam ke selsema ke pun boleh datang klinik tu. Dorang pun ada buat 3D scan untuk pregnant women sebab I nampak gambar 3D baby dekat notice board dorang. Tiba-tiba 3D scan baby pun nak mention sini. Hahaha.

Clinic assistant dekat registration counter tu tak friendly langsung (-1 point). Maybe dia tengah PMS kot hari tu ataupun dia ada masalah ke, I pun tak tahu. Time sampai tu ada 4 atau 5 orang pesakit je sebelum I tapi sejam setengah jugak la kena tunggu before sampai my turn (-1 point).

Bila masuk bilik doktor tu, I was greet by the doctor in her chirpy voice (+1 point). Lepas tu dia pun tanya apa concern I for that day so I pun cerita la pasal breakout dan keadaan kulit. Dia dengar problem I dengan tekun okay (+1 point). I pun ada cerita jugak dekat dia pernah pergi Dr. Ko before tu and I was on anti-bacterial and isotretinoin selama tiga bulan sampai June tahun lepas. Lepas tu dia explain apa yang normally menjadi punca breakout. Dia suruh I reduce all the good food (sweet and oily food) bahaha she just read thru me. I memang suka all those 'good food' pun. Dia tanya apa skin type I so I cakap combination skin and doktor pun agreed yang I ada combination skin. Lepas tu dia mintak I list out skincare yang I pakai time tu and dia tolong check ingredients dalam semua skincare tu dekat Cosdna (+1 point). Biasanya I check skincare ingredient dekat SkinCarisma tapi rasa best la bila ada orang profesional yang tolong check untuk kita. Dia cakap I boleh continue guna semua skincare tu tapi semua tu tak tolong hilangkan jerawat and I pun tak perlukan produk sebanyak tu sebenarnya. Dia suggest a few products dekat I tapi dia suruh study dulu pasal produk tu semua sebelum I decide nak try each of them (+1 point)

In case you tak faham tulisan doktor ni (sebab I pun take time nak baca balik nota ni), meh nak tolong list out balik produk yang doktor suggest dekat I.

> The Ordinary Squalane ⭐
> The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2.0 & 5.0%
> Retinol in Squalane
> SPF 30-50
> Timeless 20% C E Ferulic Acid
> Cosrx snail mucin ⭐
> Heimish all clean balm

Note : She didn't ask me to try all of the products at once but instead to read further and decide on my own produk mana yang I nak try. Produk-produk yang ada ⭐ tu menurut doktor tu, kombinasi kedua-dua produk tu bagus untuk hydration. Selain breakout, masa tu I pun ada concern yang mana I rasa kulit I tak dapat cukup hydration. Tu yang doktor tu suggest both of the products.

Then doktor tu explain pasal isotretinoin. Ada juga info baru yang I dapat dari explanation dia. Salah satunya, isotretinoin pun wujud dalam bentuk topical where you can sapu je dekat kulit (+1 point). Lepas tu dia tanya I, I nak oral isotretinoin lagi ke tapi lepas tu dia decided prescribe I dengan oral isotretinoin untuk sebulan tapi lepas dua minggu I kena datang balik klinik untuk dia monitor progress kulit I. Consultation tu makan masa dalam 10-15 minit macam tu la so terjawab la why I kena tunggu sejam setengah sebelum tu (+1 point).

Untuk ubat, first visit I dapat bekalan isotretinoin untuk 40 hari (40 biji) dengan anti bacterial pill sekali dengan anti bacterial spray. Total semua RM 252 (+1 point). Way cheaper if compare dengan Dr. Ko. But I understand why Dr. Ko mahal. Dr. Ko is a brand while yang I pegi ni klinik biasa. First visit ni on 9th March 2020.

Dengan ini, I bagi Klinik Welcare Seksyen 17 Shah Alam total +5 points.

Isotretinoin dalam botol tu. Anti bacterial tu Doxy 100. I baca doxy tu untuk bacterial infection.

29th March 2020. After 20 days, I pegi balik untuk check progress and topup anti bacterial pill. Tapi I mintak sekali dengan isotretinoin sebab time tu tengah PKP so I taknak keluar banyak kali walaupun untuk medical reason. Second visit I kena bayar RM 190 untuk both of the ubat.

Since tengah PKP, I drag third visit almost 2 bulan. Lagipun kulit dah makin okay. Isotretinoin still ada but anti bacterial tu doktor prescribe untuk 20 hari je. I check dekat farmasi dekat rumah I if dorang ada anti bacterial pill tu and dorang ada that anti bacterial. So I beli anti bacterial pill tu dekat farmasi je. RM 15 untuk dua papan tak silap harganya. I don't know if you can get this anti bacterial dari farmasi without prescription ke ape tapi hari tu I memang takde prescription dari doktor but I boleh je beli. But I tak recommend la you memandai pegi beli ni dekat farmasi je. Better pegi consult dengan doktor dulu. I berani pegi beli dekat farmasi sebab doktor memang bagi I anti bacterial tu masa tu.

My third and last visit was on 15th May 2020. Breakout dah clear. Time ni doktor still bagi isotretinoin dengan anti bacterial pill tu dengan Adapalene gel. Gel tu untuk sapu dekat jerawat. So while I was still on isotretinoin, at the same time I pakai gel tu jugak so that kulit I akan adapt slowly and tak breakout balik lepas dah habis isotretinoin tu. Ooh this time dose isotretinoin tu dah kurang. Before that I kene makan sebiji sehari, last bottle tu I makan dua hari sekali je. Ambik masa dua bulan jugak la untuk I habiskan the last isotretinoin prescription tu. Anti bacterial memang 20 hari dah settle. Lepas tu I dah takde topup dah. Doktor pun cakap kalau I dah tak nak datang klinik pun takpe dah. Last visit tu I kena bayar RM 218.

Grand total I spent dekat klinik tu was RM 660. Mahal tapi memang tu la realiti orang yang ada masalah kulit ni. Memang akan banyak duit habis. Sebab tu bila kulit dah clear, I tak kisah beli skincare yang pricey. Asalkan elok untuk kulit I (Nanti I share my current skincare yang I rasa sesuai untuk acne prone skin) Dah tak larat dah nak berperang dengan jerawat lagi. I'm lucky sebab I dah kerja, boleh la pergi treatment sana sini walaupun tak tahu berkesan ke tak. Memang banyak try and error. Mostly banyak error je. Hahaha.

Sekarang bulan 9, baru around 4 bulan kulit I bebas jerawat. Time Dr. Ko dulu bertahan 8 bulan before I breakout balik sebab pergi Vietnam tu. I harap kali ni takde la breakout lagi dah.

Now, gambar progress kulit I. Doktor tu memang suruh ambik gambar each time lepas jumpa dia so that dia boleh tengok progress skin. Another +1 point hahaha. Last visit je I tak ambik gambar sebab lepas tu dah tak payah jumpa doktor.

Scroll bawah panjang sikit la ye sebab I tak nak orang terkejut dengan graphic content ni.

Gambar dahi dah la hihihi. First pic after first visit. Second pic after second visit. Kalau zoom, boleh nampak ada jerawat yang keluar air. Third pic tu ambik hari ni. Dua gambar dekat atas tu I ambik lepas cuci muka and pakai skincare. Third pic je I just cuci dengan balm dulu. Tak pakai cleanser lagi. Memang tak licin macam orang yang tak pernah breakout teruk but I bersyukur at least takde dah jerawat besar macam before this. Tu ada red bumps sebab I tengah PMS and snacking almond banyak gila nowadays. Nak kena stop makan kacang la nampaknya sebab before ni takde pun bumps tu.

Hopefully post ni membantu walaupun sikit. Don't give up fellow acne fighter. Hahaha. Kalau ada soalan, comment je dekat bawah. I'll try answer as fast as I can okay.

Thank you for reading

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Malaysia is under Movement Control Order (MCO) right now due to COVID-19. I don't want to talk about the MCO itself because I can no longer process all the negative ridiculous things Malaysian did during this MCO.

Today I'm going to talk about what do I do during this MCO so far. People have been sharing their activities during MCO and I found some to be helpful. Here's mine ;

Making Dalgona Coffee
Day 1 - I started off the day like a usual lazy weekend. On my lazy weekends, I usually start my day with making myself a cup of coffee. However two days before MCO started, Dalgona Coffee started trending on Twitter so I tried making that coffee and now I'm all about the coffee. Luckily Ira, my little sister is home with me so I can ask her to make me one whenever I feel like it because after the first day, I'm too lazy to make my own Dalgona. Hahaha. Joke aside, I'm glad she decided to come to my house a day before MCO started. At least she's not alone without family members at her place.

Here the recipe of the famous Dalgona Coffee in case you can't found one but I doubt it because it's all over the place now. But of course I don't really follow the recipe because I know it'll be too sweet for me.

Dalgona Coffee

Ingredients
2 tea spoon of instant coffee (I use Nescafe Gold)
1 table spoon of sugar (I only put 1/2 table spoon)
2 table spoon of hot water
Fresh milk (I use Magnolia fresh milk)

Directions
Whisk instant coffee, sugar and hot water together until fluffy
Pour fresh milk in a cup/glass
Heat the milk in the microwave if you want it hot (I heated it at 50°C for 2 minutes) or put ice cube in the glass if you want it cold.
Pour the fluffy mixture into the cup/glass of fresh milk
Mix them well before drinking

Reading

On the first day I finished rereading Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince that stuck with me since December last year. Then I started reading Empayar by Teme Abdullah and finished it the next day. I was skeptical about the book at first because the language is too simple. Hahaha. But the strength of Teme Abdullah's writing is not on his words but the storyline. However that's just my opinion. I just read two of his book so far. Empayar and Pelukis Jalanan. Then I tried to pick up Brilliant Blunders where I last stopped and oh boy how I procrastinate from reading because of this book. So I decided to put it back on the shelf and read The Leviathan Wakes instead.

Leviathan Wakes is the first book of The Expanse novel series (the book is adapted into my ultimate favourite TV series) that consist of nine novels. I wanted to read Leviathan Wakes since long time ago but I stop myself each time just because it was at the bottom of my to read list. The reason why it was at the bottom of my to read list is not because I don't like the book but because it was the last book I bought despite my book buying ban and also because I don't want to finish the book without having the second book in my hand. It'll be a torture to have to wait for the second book to arrive. If you don't understand my cycle of thought, here I summarize it for you.

I need to finish all the books I bought earlier than Leviathan Wakes or I won't lift the book buying ban I impose on myself. So if I read Leviathan Wakes first without lifting the book buying ban, I won't be able to buy the second book and that's a torture. I feel like a psycho now after reading these sentences again. Also, since the TV series had just concluded its fourth season, I'm torn between reading the book in sequence according to its adaption on the screen or reading it all in, effectively spoiling the TV series for me. But yesterday I said to myself, let me deal with the torture and dilemma later. I just want to read Leviathan Wakes now! And so I do.

Watching
I know there are a lot of movies and series suggested by netizen but for now I'm content with Itaewon Class and season 4 of 1 Night 2 Days. I only watch them when I'm eating and only finished one episode each feeding sessions. Hahaha. I don't binge watch nowadays because I realized I always keep my hand busy when I'm watching something and the easiest thing to do is playing games on my phone but that didn't only keep my hand busy but also my eyes and attention and I'll neglect whatever movies or series on the TV. But now I'm on episode 10 of Itaewon Class, I'm starting to worry about what to watch next and being a picky watcher doesn't help at all.

Everything else
Other than the above activities, there are also boring activities like vacuuming and mopping the house, pruning and watering the plants, cooking and etc.

What's your activities during this MCO?

Thank you for reading.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

That is one clickbait title. I apologize in advance for that.

I love it when my house smell good. I think most women can relate to this right? Men please don't feel offended. Hahaha. We spend a lot of our time at home especially housewives. But I don't want to spend too much money on house scents because in my opinion although it is important to have a house that smell amazing but it still just a value added, not a necessity. So I always resort to cheap but good quality scents.

That being said, here are the things I use to make my house smell good.

p/s : I found new usage for my romance books that I don't read anymore (read : pictures prop 😂)

Glade Automatic Spray (~RM15 for the refill can)
I've been using this for years now (Glade please sponsor me 😆). I tried different smell of this spray during earlier days I started using it. Sort of experimenting which smell suit me best and I found the one for me. Now I only buy the Lavender & Vanilla refill and I love it so much. You know how each house has it own signature smell right? For example, my late grandpa's house had this smell that I loved, a combination of his smell and everything else in the house. Kind of rustic smell. Glade's Lavender & Vanilla is the signature smell I wish to have for my house. But I have problems with this type of diffuser(?). First, it operate on battery so I need to change the batteries once in three or four months and that's extra cost I don't want to bear. So I often let it sit for a long time before I feel like changing the batteries. That bring us to second problem, I'm not sure if this is related or not but I noticed everytime I let the spray unit sit unused for a long time, it won't work anymore even after I changed the battery. So yeah, the spray unit is not really reliable. Now I use this spray manually and that's answer why I haven't finished the can even after 6 months. I just forgot to spray it.

IKEA Sinnlig Scented Candle (RM5.90 - RM12.90)
I'm sure everyone who ever visited IKEA are familiar with this scented candle. Like Glade spray, I only buy vanilla scent because that's the only one scent I love among all other choices they have. You can see there is red candle in the picture. Arrif chose that because he likes everything strawberry (Yeah I know weird) but he never use it so I have to burn it just because I hate seeing the candle sit in the storage. I usually burn the candle in my bedroom. It give me the calming effect and make me sleep better (the vanilla ones, not strawberry). Don't worry, I put it far away from my bed and I will light it up only if Arrif is busy with his game and won't sleep until before 2.00 am so that there will be someone to blow out the candle.  I also will light it up after I vacuumed my bedroom on every weekend morning just to make the room smell good. My problem with candle is it's not really safe. Of course I put it at a safe place but accident could happen right? And also, what did people do with the glass when the candle is finished? As you might know, I'm not a hoarder (you can read about it HERE), but the glass is nice. So everytime the candle is finished, I'll wash the glass, hoping I could use it for something later. I thought about planting succulent in the glass and make them as decoration or give them to people. Funny thing is, whenever I washed the glass and let it sit to dry on the dish drainer, Arrif will use it to drink water. Hahaha. I think it's not harmful as glass don't absorb chemicals from the things it contain, no? Chemist please correct me if I'm wrong.

DAISO Reed Diffuser (RM5.60)
I bought this diffuser from Daiso after watching a review on YouTube and this is the first time I bought them. The smells are quite nice but they are not strong enough to spread into the room. I literally need to put my nose very close to the bottle for me to able to smell it. Maybe you can put this in a wardrobe but I don't have wardrobe for now so I'm not going to buy it again.

That's all I use in my house for now. I know Bath and Body Works have tons of choices for scented candles but I'm not going to spend my money on something that expensive. I'll buy them when I become a Tai tai later. Hahaha. But I've been eyeing their wallflower. The price is a little bit higher than all the scents that I currently use, but still kind of affordable? Yeah, that answer why I haven't buy it yet. I'm still thinking do I really want to spend more than RM20 for house scents? What do you think? Is it a wise purchase? And also, please let me know what kind of scent do you use at home. I'm still looking for the best and cheap ways to make my house smell good.

p/s: I compiled my commentator's link here as my way of appreciating their visit and comments. Feel free to visit them too ya 😊

Thank you for reading.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Welcome to the second part of my Dr. Ko review. If you haven't read Part 1, you can read it HERE

To make it easier, I'm going to separate this post into parts as below;

1. Effect after medication and skincare (without facial)
2. Facial extraction
3. Effect after facial
4. My skin now

EFFECT AFTER MEDICATION AND SKINCARE (WITHOUT FACIAL)
After three weeks of consuming the medication and using the skincare, there were still acne popping up on my face. The big ones with pus inside already gone but my skin still felt sandy. I guess they were whiteheads. I tried to Google types of acne but there are too many different descriptions and not to forget, they are gross it make me feel uncomfortable. So I hope my description above is enough for you to imagine. Heheh. The medication suppose to make my skin and lips dry but surprisingly my lips weren't affected at that time. I thought this one too doesn't work for me 😕. I'm one impatient human being guys.

FACIAL EXTRACTION
Remember I said I only had the chance to do the facial after a month and half after my first visit HERE. After consultation session with the doctor on my first visit, I did make an appointment for facial. The appointment for facial on weekend is no joke. There were a very long queue so I decided to be on the waiting list for the next week in case there were cancellation from other customers. Sadly there were no cancellation so I need to set my appointment for another date which six weeks after my first visit. So please, just set a proper date.

The facial took three hours. To be honest, I had better facial extraction experience at my regular spa because they (read : Dr Ko) didn't scrub and steam your face. But of course spa is not the same with aesthetic clinic. I think they just don't want to risk enlarging pores and causing abrasion to skin. It was a bit painful since my skin was dry (from the medication) and wasn't really soft if compare with after steaming. But the beautician who did the extraction on me was so good. She did extract everything from my face. I'm amazed by how patient she was hahaha.

EFFECT AFTER FACIAL
It is normal for your skin to have redness after the extraction. After a few days, my skin peeled. It was just small peeling so it wasn't bad. After the dead skin gone, there came the soft skin. Mind you the softness was just on the touch. The dark scars were still there. A week after facial, I noticed my skin wasn't oily at all. Usually when I woke up in the morning, my skin will became oily but after the facial it wasn't oily at all. The effect wasn't only on my facial skin but also on my scalp. I only shampooed my hair once a week at that time. Hahaha. I was still on medication and using the skincare at this time so I think it was the combination of the three elements that cause my skin to become soft and not oily like that. I finally experienced how it feels like to have normal skin without problems after the longest time!

MY SKIN NOW
My skin was okay for 8 months. On October last year, it decided to breakout again and I'm still struggling with it up until now. To be honest I'm so tired with my overly sensitive skin. In my opinion if you don't have overly sensitive skin and the breakout you experience now is not repetitive unlike me, you can give Dr. Ko a try. But if you have overly sensitive skin like me and would like to try Dr. Ko, prepare your mental to not thinking your struggle will be over and no more acne forever. Hahaha. I didn't mean to be discouraging and negative but seriously, I think there is no end to this. Now I need to tell myself to make peace with these acne because I'm going to live with it forever. Wow that is one negative note to end this post. Hahaha. I'm sorry. Gambatte to all acne fighters!

If you have any questions about my experience with Dr. Ko, feel free to leave your comment. I'll try to answer it as soon as I can.

UPDATED : Three days after I posted this, I read on Twitter a girl had the same problem with me. She had breakout too. But that's not what shocked me. The shocking thing was, she also had that breakout more or less a month after she came back from Vietnam. She said the air was dirty. When I read that, I realize that I went to Vietnam on September and I started to breakout on October. . It was during haze at that time but Vietnam didn't affected by the haze so I don't know what makes their air dirty but even Arrif who has normal skin (not prone to acne or whatsover) also affected by it. He developed some weird rashes and he did pointed to me that it was because of Vietnam but I brushed him off each time. Hahaha.

Here's a screenshot from my Tweet. I'm sorry I can't put the girl's thread here because she already set her account to private and I don't follow her.

So in conclusion, it's not Dr. Ko doesn't work. It's just that people with sensitive skin really need to put extra care of their skin. Don't go visit random countries because in my opinion, it's not worth it. Hahaha. But that's only my opinion. You are free to have your own opinion too.

Thank you for reading.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

This happened literally a year ago because I went to Dr. Ko on February last year but I think it is a good thing I just have the mood to write about it now because I could give proper review. The long term effects like what happened to my skin a year later. But HERE's a spoiler if you care for one. Read at your own risk, alright.

I decided to go to Dr. Ko because I had terrible breakout (what's new huh?). It was actually my fault. I didn't realize that my scrub and moisturizer has expired. Hahaha. You know what, it wasn't 100%. We can also blame Watson store near my house for not removing items that close to their expire dates from the shelves. I'll never buy anything from that Watson anymore and guys, check the expiry date before buying anything especially things you put on your face.

I called Dr. Ko Puchong beforehand asking if I need to make an appointment but they said I can just walk in anytime. I went to Dr Ko Puchong because that was their closest center to my house. I think they are open everyday from 10.30am or 11.00am to 7.00pm. I went on Saturday because I'm working a Monday to Friday job.

From my consultation with the doctor, I can conclude that there are five factors triggering acne and I think most people already know what they are especially people who are always struggling with acne like me. And they are ;

1. Hormone
2. Product (skincare, medications etc)
3. Environment
4. Stress
5. Diet

The doctor suggested for me to take the acne package. I'm not sure if they have other acne packages but this was the one she recommended for me.

What's in the package?

1. 1 month worth of medications (antibiotic and isotretinoin)
2. Full set of Dr Ko acne skin care
3. 3x facial (extraction)

Now let's go to one of the reasons why you are googling Dr Ko Review at the first place. How much does this package costed me. It was RM 1449. Beauty is pain (in the pocket) guys. Now let me walk you through all those items above.

MEDICATIONS (RM 330/MONTH)

This was a month worth of medications. I was on the medications for three month so every month I went to Dr Ko to get new set of those pills. The dosage depends on individual. I need to take 2 of the isotretinoin (purple capsule) for the first five days and one each day after that. The doctor told me that isotretinoin can cause birth defect if you take it during pregnancy. So if you are planning for a baby or if you are a pregnant lady, don't take this. You need to stop isotretinoin a month prior trying for a baby. It will also make your lips dry.

SKIN CARE (RM 880/SET)

The price of Dr. Ko skincare set is totally not pocket friendly especially for students but to think that I've been struggling with acne for 9 years and I've tried so many cheaper alternative that didn't work for me, so I thought I'll treat this as an investment for myself. I forgot the price for each products with the package discount. I'm really bad with number guys. Like REALLY BAD. Luckily there are price tag on each products' packaging. But they are the net price not discounted price (update : well I calculated it and it just RM8 difference between package price and net price 😴)

The products in application orders

From left to right;

Bio Perform Acne Cleanser RM 139
The cleanser is my third favourite item in this set. It came in a pump which I like because it also came with a cap so it's travel friendly. I have just finished this last December which mean it lasted almost a year for me. I use two pumps of it each time I washed my face. Sometimes one pump, especially during the morning when I was still on medication because my skin wasn't oily at all. Actually it's worth the price because you don't have to buy cleanser for a year, don't you agree? Please excuse the cap. The metallic coating peeled off when it came in contact with water. That's the only part I hate about this cleanser, specifically the packaging. The metallic coating will stuck on your skin like glitter and it's very hard to remove.

Clarifying Mist RM 120
I'm not sure what's the function of this one. As the name suggest, this is a mist spray. Maybe for hydration. I don't know if it helps with combating acne. Please, if anyone know anything about facial mist, please educate me because I really don't think it does anything. Hahaha. This one finished after around two to three months if I'm not mistaken and I since I'm so ignorant about the advantages of facial mist, I didn't bother buy a new one after that.

Vitality Purifying Essence RM 120
This also came in a pump. That's what I like about Dr. Ko's skincare packaging. They are hygienic. This one is use on problematic area where those nasty acne located. It has the smell of alcohol so I'm guessing it is use to disinfect the acne bacteria? Please bear with my guessing game. Hahaha. When I use this while I was on medication and few months after that, it still works. But it doesn't works nowadays. I'm not sure if the bacteria are already immune to this or what. I still haven't finished this bottle. Oh, you will feel tingly when you apply this if you have acne wound from self-peeling acne. I was guilty of that so I that's how I know. Actually I still does that tehee. Don't be like me. KEEP YOUR HAND AWAY FROM YOUR FACIAL SKIN guys especially if you have acne prone skin like me.

Acne Therapy Solution RM 99
It is actually spot treatment so this one is to be applied on each of the acne bumps. Just like Vitality Purifying Essence, it works on me only when I was on medication and few months after that and I also haven't finished this tube. Maybe I put too little of it so that's why it doesn't works?

Bio Hydro Gel RM 230
Behold, my most favourite item from this whole set. This is the moisturizer. The name suggest that it's gel but actually it is more like cream with water-like consistency. Isn't that magic? The bottle is also kind of unique. The moisturizer came in a airless twist up pump bottle. That's a bit of mouthful. Hahaha. HERE an example. I'm sorry if you're not fascinated with it. Maybe it's just the designer in me who find the mechanism interesting. Although it's cream type but it doesn't feel sticky and oily at all. I love it. This is the only item that I bought again after I finished the first bottle. You can read why I don't buy third bottle HERE.

Bio Defense Suncscreen RM 100
This is their sunscreen with protection factor of SPF 60. It came in a tube. This is my second favourite. I like it thick creamy white texture. With that texture, one might expect it to be oily but surprisingly it is not oily at all. I haven't finished this tube too because as I said the texture is thick so just a little of it can already cover my whole face and I don't really go out. Also I'm guilty of not wearing any sunscreen at home. Heheh. I might repurchase this again if not for the metallic cap. I once accidentally wetted the cap and the metallic coating came off. It still come off up until now. So sometimes I have glitter on my face when I'm in a hurry and just don't have time to deal with it. Or do you know any hygienic ways and container that I can use to transfer and store this because I really do like it.

FACIAL EXTRACTION (RM 200/ 3 SESSIONS)

Their net price for facial extraction is actually RM 200/session. But I get two sessions free because it was my first time with Dr. Ko. You need to book early for the facial because they are always full on weekend since everyone only have free time on weekend. Unless you are free on weekdays, then you are good. I only had the chance to do the facial after a month and half after my first visit. I'll let you know why that happened in my next entry (hint : it is my own fault)

I'll update more in my next entry.

Thank you for reading.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

I was on Twitter as usual when I stumbled upon a thread about WePlayGames. WePlayGames is a cafe with board games concept, so you can enjoy your food and drinks while playing board games with your friends or family there. I love coffee and I enjoy playing board games with my family so it's only right I check out the place as soon as I can. Arrif don't really share the same enthusiasm for board games because he prefer PC games (boringgg) and I don't want to ruin my first time experience at WePlayGames hahaha. As much as I love him and we do almost everything together, we still have our differences, alright.

One night, when my best friend texted me asking me if I'm rajin enough to come pick up strawberries she bought for me from Cameron Highland at her sister's house, I proposed different plan to her. It was Saturday night and Arrif was already sleeping (boringgg), so I asked her if she want to go out for a date. Long story short, we went to WePlayGames. Don't worry, I already asked for Arrif's permission but funny thing happened. I'll let you know at the end of this entry.

WePlayGames located at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya. Right above Book Excess (Malaysia's first 24 hours bookstore if you haven't know yet). They are open from 12.00 noon until 1.00 am. Late closing hour mean longer lepak time, don't you agree? They have over 300 board games and different rates for you to choose.

You can get more info from their Twitter HERE

Since it was already late, we went for their free game promotion where we ordered a set of meal (1 food + 1 drink) for each of us and we got a dual-player game so we can choose one game from their ala carte game menu with unlimited play time. My explanation might be confusing hahaha I'm sorry. Never mind, you can always ask for their staffs help. They are so so so helpful. They will help recommend games that are suitable for you and your group. I ordered hot mocha and hazelnut lava croissant while Nee (my friend) ordered iced mocha and New York cheese cake. Costed us RM45 in total for both sets. We chose to play Blokus that night. We played for four rounds and I won all the time hahaha. You can read about my win further at Nee's Facebook HERE

Go check this place out if you live nearby. Forget mamak for a while and have a good laugh with your friends and family there. I'll definitely come back again later when I'm finished recruiting new members, i.e Arrif and Ira, my little sister and fellow board games lover.

Back to the funny thing that I mentioned above. Arrif is kind of sleep talking so whenever you speak to him while he is asleep, he sometimes will respond with the most convincing tone like he's not sleeping at all. That night, I asked him if I can go out and he said okay. I asked him so many times just to make sure it wasn't his unconscious mind answering me. Right after I went out, I texted him that I'm out with my friend in case he wake up and look for me (my husband such a baby, I know). I was enjoying the night and went back home. As soon as I opened the door, he woke up (he slept on the sofa at the hall) and asked me what happened. He didn't notice I was not at home that whole time and only woke up when I was back 😂. It's easy for me to sneak out la like this.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

I was using Dr Ko moisturizer before but since Dr Ko products only available at their centers and I'm too lazy to go there, I decided to change my moisturizer to something I can easily get in most malls. I was already eyeing Keihl's since Choi Siwon promoted them HAHAHAdfgh!@#$%^. Then I saw one of my friend shared about Keihl's sunscreen on her IG story so that's how I decided to give this brand a try.

I was overwhelmed with their many range I saw on the website so I went to their store to get consultation. My skin loves HA (Hyaluronic Acid) A LOT so I told the SA I wanted something really hydrating like overly hydrating. The SA recommended me two option. The Super Multi Corrective cream and I forgot the other option but I think it was Powerful Wrinkle & Pore Reducing cream. I just remember the orange colour tub. But I saw Hyaluronic Acid written on the purple tub so I chose it instantly.

PRICE
RM 264 for 50ml. I admit it is on the expensive side.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This multi-corrective daily moisturizer addresses many visible signs of aging including loss of bounce and youthful contours, prominent lines and wrinkles, texture imperfections and lackluster complexion. Formulated with our first-ever combination of three ingredients - Beech Tree Extract, Jasmonic and Hyaluronic Acids - our formula helps visibly improve skin's resilience, redefine the appearance of contours and smooth the look of wrinkles. Skin feels intensely hydrated, texture looks refined and pores are less visible - revealing a fresh, healthy and youthful-looking radiance.

MY REVIEW
First, I like the texture. It looks creamy and rich in texture but actually very light in touch. It doesn't feel sticky on your skin and you can feel your skin become moisturize and plumper after application. Second, I love the smell. I usually dislike scented facial products but I love this cream's scent. It has herbal and woody smell I guess? Maybe the scent come from the Beech Tree extract and Jasmonic Acid that made up it main ingredients.

I've been using this cream for over two months now and I really can see the difference. It does smoothen fine lines and most importantly my pores become smaller! Mind you I have one stubborn facial skin. I'd use so many products to reduce my pores size but to no avail, so I give up. Then I use this cream and never intend it to reduce my pores but it does and that is the main reason why I love this cream. It's does moisturize my skin but I expected more. Despite of dark acne scars and some pigmentation on my face, I think my face does look less dull.

I was searching for other ingredients while writing this entry and found out it has 6 types of ingredients that trigger fungal acne. I had breakout before I bought this cream (Disclaimer, my breakout is not causing by this cream because my skin started to breakout BEFORE I use it). No wonder these acne never go away. But they already stop popping up actually. Nevermind, I'll stop using it for two weeks to see if these acne on my forehead will go away and then use it back after two weeks to see if they will pop up again. Will update this entry later about the result.

You can check the rest of the ingredients HERE

The only thing I don't like about this moisturizer so far is the packaging. It doesn't feel hygienic to expose all the cream and touch it with your finger when you only need just a tiny bit of it. I think the airless pump type bottle is better because not only it is hygienic but it also will squeeze out all the product.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

I think it was 4 years ago since I last bought air freshener for my car. All thanks to my cheapskate nature. Hahaha. I think this is quite popular method but I still feel like sharing this. It's actually very easy.

All you need are ;
1) Air freshener. The small canned type.
2) Fragrant oil
3) Water

This is the air freshener that I use. You can see the can wrapper has turned yellowish because of the sun. I always love the smell of Teddy's Dream from Lovely Lace. So first, just use the canned air freshener as per usual. When the air freshener dried out (?), open the can and put few drops of the fragrant oil inside the can and then pour some water into it. Or you can do it vice versa. Water first and then fragrant oil. Any one you fancy doing at that particular time. Don't throw the jelly like thingy inside the can because I think it does help to sustain the fragrant oil smell. Don't ask me how hahaha. Since there is water inside the can, please ensure you put anti slip mat on top of your dashboard. That, if you put your air freshener on top of your dashboard. I put my air freshener inside the cup holder so I don't face any problem of water spilling. Top up water and fragrant oil when you feel necessary. The jelly inside my air freshener look like dried orange now. It's not a beautiful sight but whatever it's not like I see that 'dried orange' everyday. Hahaha.

Do you have any other tips for cheap car air freshener?

I went to 7E last night to get Nescafe Caramel Macchiato because I saw my friend shared about it on his IG story. Sadly the Nescafe Caramel Macchiato wasn't available at the store I went. Not sure if it was out of stock or that range was still not available at the store. I didn't bother asking because I was having stomach ache (from eating Samyang ramen on empty stomach. Don't do that guys). Despite bad review from my friend, I still want to try it just because of the packaging. Hahaha. See below. The packaging is nice isn't it?

Picture from Nescafe Malaysia FB

So Arrif picked Starbuck Frappucino Coffee. I noticed the drink before but never feel like buying it because I think it wouldn't be good as the freshly brewed one. I thought he was going to drink it but he sipped some of the drink and asked me to finish the bottle. Since I'm not immune to caffeine like Arrif, so I just drank it this morning. We both loves coffee but Arrif like his coffee sweet and I like my coffee bitter so when he didn't finish the bottle, I thought it must be kaw but to my disappointment, it was sweet as hell. No coffee taste at all and the creamer taste was so strong. I tried to wash it down with water but yeah, the taste still there. But again, I love the packaging. Hahaha. I might keep this bottle and use it as my to go coffee container or when I'm bored of it, I could keep small house plant in there.

By the way, so many products and brands in one entry. Phew. This is not product placement guys. Hahaha. I'm not paid for this entry.

So have you taste the Nescafe Caramel Macchiato? How does it taste? I'm so going to get it later.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.
Here are mobile games I played nowadays. I'm not sure if you could call them games because they are more like something for adult to unwind after a day full of craps. Hahaha.

DESIGN HOME
I played this before and then I uninstall it because this game consume so much space. But I install it back because I love it to bits. It won't load if you use mobile data before but it works fine now with mobile data. It's fun for someone who love ID but not an ID (like me. Hahaha) There are new task everyday where you need to design different room with different theme. There are requirements for each challenge so you have to be creative and play around to fulfill the requirements with limited budget (unless you use credit card to buy diamonds 😐). You also get to vote other designer's design. The graphic is realistic and I think that's one of the reasons why I love this game.

Loading Page

Some of the rooms that I designed. Obviously I only put rooms with high star hahaha. You could see my cumulative star is only 4.13 there. Apparently I'm not that good in ID as I think I am hahaha. Slaps some reality there huh.

PAINT BY NUMBER
This is by far the easiest colouring game I ever played because I don't have to think which colours goes well with the picture and which are not hahaha. Because everything already numbered. You just need to fill in the blanks with right number to colour the blank space. Below are some of my favourite pictures.

This is not my favourite. This is the hardest picture. Took me few days to finish this one 😪

Assalamualaikum. Hi

Since I know how hard it is nak fikir menu everytime nak masak so here I letak my planned menu. So far I ada menu untuk 9 days. Why 9 days? Because usually I'll just go to bazaar to buy food for berbuka since I akan sampai lewat kat rumah. But this year I dah pindah rumah. Still around the vicinity but I dah tak lalu jalan yang sama macam dulu where bazar yang I selalu pegi dulu located. So on the first day, we (me & Arrif) went to the bazar near our house. Long story short, we decided the bazar tak kena dengan taste kitorang and I went emo on that day hahaha. So it leave bad expression. You know, kita baru first time pegi situ, lepas tu time pegi tu emosi tak bagus so when you remember that place, you remember the feeling you felt when you first time went there. I'm drama like that. Sorry not sorry. That's why I decided to cook this Ramadhan. Well, bukan sepanjang Ramadhan because we go to bazar on weekend. Plus it is public holiday on 29th, so bazar again. Hahaha. But on day two of puasa, barang untuk masak takde since tak plan kan so we had KFC on second day. This week je la start masak jawabnya. Hence the 9 days. It's actually meal plan for berbuka on weekdays for two weeks minus Wesak Day.

Here's the menu. Note that I plan this menu so that I only need to buy as minimum groceries as I can so you'll see similar menu for different day.

Week 1
Menu 1 - Chicken buttermilk and saute cauliflower, broccoli and carrot
Menu 2 - Prawn buttermilk and cauliflower, broccoli and carrot masak tiram
Menu 3 - Sup ayam with cauliflower, broccoli, carrot and bok choy and telur dadar
Menu 4 - Mee goreng basah (put together chicken fillet, prawn, fishball, carrot and bok choy) and keropok goreng
Menu 5 - Grilled chicken with cauliflower, broccoli and carrot masak tiram

Week 2
Menu 1 - Mee rebus Terengganu (put together chicken fillet, fishball, egg, carrot, bok choy and tomato)
Wesak day
Menu 2 - Kari daging, kacang panjang hati ayam goreng and terung berlada. The kacang panjang hati requested by Arrif but I don't eat kacang panjang and hati so terung berlada is mine
Menu 3 - Nasi goreng daging (put together carrot and bok choy) and keropok goreng
Menu 4 - Ayam goreng, sup campur (chicken fillet, daging, carrot, bok choy, tomato) and telur dadar

I'm sorry I don't have any picture for all the food I cook.

By the way, I know this tips mungkin dah ramai yang pakai but prepare semua barang-barang yang nak di masak in advance time weekend. Contoh, asingkan lauk-lauk ikut hari nak masak, siap potong ikut saiz masakan yang nak dimasak tu. So tak payah la defrost banyak kali untuk satu bekas tu. Lepas tu boleh potong siap-siap sayur. Blend bawang if needed. I lagi suka tumbuk pakai lesung so I just kopek all my bawangs and put them in the fridge. Kena berkorban sikit la time weekend tu. So that's all. Hope this help.

Assalamualaikum. Hi

This going to be an entry where I justify all of my purchases hahaha so please bear with me. I always opt for online shopping because;

#1 It's convenient
#2 I'm too lazy to go out

But this month I just went overboard (according to my limit) with my online shopping. I usually just buy one or two items the most in a month. Last months, there were four items 😅

SHOES
Bought this for Iqa (my little sister) from Lazada. Iqa is currently staying at the school hostel because she's going to sit for SPM this year. So when she requested to stay at the school hostel, my mum thought why not. With me and Ira are here in Selangor and there is only Angah the workaholic at home, practically there's nobody to monitor her. Also with current school syllabus who are we kidding? We won't be able to catch up. Hahaha. At least at hostel, she's going to have friends to help her with her homework and she will learn to be independent. So there was Iqa in need of new shoes but since it is a hostel we are talking about, a pair of expensive shoes usually won't last long. I'm not saying hostel students are bad but better be safe than sorry right? Asked her to choose one from the Lazada never ending list and she picked this one. Only cost me RM66. It's a size bigger for her but still a good purchase I think. But I will never buy my footwear online because I never know my size. They always change I don't know why.

BOOKS
I found Elon Musk book while I was strolling in MPH Rawang but it was the display and only copy left. So I didn't buy it. Weeks later I search for it again in Popular IOI but I haven't finished reading Endurance and to stay true to my 2018's resolution, to buy only one book at a time, I didn't buy it. I know you might ask what's the point of searching if I don't want to buy it yet? You know, just for assurance that the book is still around. Hahaha. Couple of weeks later, I searched for it in MPH My Town. Found it but I found Artemis first and again to stay true to my 2018's resolution, so I didn't buy it. Later did I know when I was ready for the book, it was gone. Missing from all bookstores (might or might not exaggerate). Long story short, I bought it from MPH online.

Now, about the Harry Potter dengan Batu Hikmat. Go on if you want to judge the title because my husband did laugh at me because I read such lame titles 😤. Now, onto the book, I grew up reading Harry Potter books thanks to my friend (now best friend) who introduced them to me. I borrowed them from her so I make it my dream to collect all of 7 books myself. The problem was, I read Malay version and can't bring myself to read English version. I tried and I cried to the fact English version's cover are cool and beautiful (refer first picture). And mind you, it was so hard looking for Malay version. I know MPH carry the books because I bought the last book (Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows or Harry Potter dan Azimat Maut) when I was in matriculation. Long story short, I broke my to-buy-one-book-at-a-time promise by purchasing this together with Elon Musk.

Btw, I usually buy books from physical bookstores because bookstores smells so good. Who agree with me?

BLOUSE
I'm sorry I don't do #OOTD but I do #FOTD so here's the blouse picture together with yummy mee tarik I ate in IOI City last weekend. Oh my oh my I'm drooling. Bought the dress from this ig shop @deroseshop. The blouse was on sale. I bought it for RM30. An absolute steal! Okay now let us appreciate those meat cubes shall we?

SKINCARE
I went to literally every pharmacy and drugstore in every malls I visited to buy Cetaphil Gentle cleanser because I almost finished my bottle. But it was sold out everywhere thanks to Cetaphil latest marketing strategy. I saw their ads and review almost everywhere on the net. But obviously they can't cope with all the demand 😪.  So I bought it from Shopee. Another product I got from Shopee is Garnier Micellar Water. Bought it after reading all the review heheh. This was my first time buying items from Shopee and the package was oily and smell like traditional ointment. I don't know who's fault it was, Shopee or Pos Laju but I pity the receiver of the broken package.

So now I'm looking for outer wear i.e jacket, cardigan, casual blazer. Please comment down below if you have any suggestion. Hahaha. And please let me know if you also shop online unnecessarily and what was the last thing you bought online so that I won't feel guilty alone.
